Concentric Energy Advisors is pleased to announce that Ross Hemphill, Ph.D., has joined the firm as an Executive Advisor.
Dr. Hemphill is an economist with a wealth of experience and expertise within the energy industry having over 35 years’ of focusing on regulatory and energy policy issues with primary emphasis on ratemaking, rate design, innovative pricing, and strategic analysis. His experience includes working for utilities, research institutions, and regulatory agencies, both directly and as a consultant. Dr. Hemphill has testified on a range of regulatory issues in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and Peru and has published articles on utility economics and pricing design in Electricity Journal, Public Utilities Fortnightly and Resources and Energy, as well as reports for the Electric Power Research Institute, Edison Electric Institute, the National Regulatory Research Institute and American Public Power Association.
Dr. Hemphill holds a doctorate in resource economics from The Ohio State University, a master’s degree in economics from Indiana State University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Lewis University. Dr. Hemphill will be located in Chicago, Illinois.
