As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Concentric, we will bring you through a flashback of the decades with articles from The Foster Report archives. This week, we will take you back to August 4, 1960. At that time, The Foster Report was titled “Foster Associates Report” and focused primarily on the natural gas industry. What makes the article significant is that FERC was under the Federal Power Commission (FPC) and played a big part in natural gas.
The highlight of the 1960 article is that the FPC amended the rate condition previously imposed upon producer sales to People’s Gulf Coast Natural Gas Pipeline Co. from the Texas Railroad Commission District Nos. 2 and 4. The Commission did not modify its previous certification of sales and amended the original rate condition in an order denying petitions for rehearing.
