Concentric recently served as the sell-side financial advisor and manager to PPL Services Corporation in the divestiture of PPL Corp. (NYSE: PPL) subsidiary, PPL Solutions, LLC (“Solutions”). Headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, Solutions provides billing, business processing outsourcing, call centers, and information technology services to competitive electric and gas suppliers and regulated utilities in the US.
Concentric prepared detailed offering materials including an early interest letter, information memorandum, preliminary term sheet, and marketing materials. Concentric then marketed the business to potential buyers, coordinated management discussions and buyer diligence, and assisted with negotiations. In July 2016, Solutions was acquired by Hansen Technologies Limited (ASX: HSN) which is a global Customer Care and Billing Solutions provider to the Energy, Pay TV, and Telecommunications industries. Hansen Technologies will add the Solutions’ capabilities in complex billing and call center management to its existing platform.
