Michael Buckley is a strategic leader with a forward-thinking approach and extensive experience in the North American energy industry. He is well versed in data analysis and financial modeling; merger and acquisition due diligence; environmental, social, governance (ESG) and sustainability issues; greenhouse gas reporting; meeting facilitation; and providing analytical and research support on various industry issues.
Prior to joining Concentric, Mr. Buckley served as the Director of Financial Analysis at the Edison Electric Institute (EEI). In this capacity, he was responsible for managing the aggregate financial data of all investor-owned electric utilities in the United States. He also led EEI’s sustainability program for the electric utility industry, facilitating a multi-year stakeholder process to enhance the uniformity and reliability of ESG data and sustainability reporting for utilities. Prior to EEI, Mr. Buckley worked as an Economic Analyst for Exeter Associates, an independent consulting firm specializing in regulatory economics. Mr. Buckley earned a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Colorado State University in 2010.
