Summary of Experience
Peter Blazunas joined Concentric in October 2021 after spending nine years in positions of progressively greater responsibility in the regulatory departments of large investor-owned electric utilities. Most recently, Mr. Blazunas managed a team at Exelon Corp. responsible for the cost of service, revenue allocation, rate design, revenue decoupling, and rate administration functions for Exelon’s Pepco Maryland and District of Columbia jurisdictions. Mr. Blazunas has experience testifying in both traditional base distribution rate case and multiyear rate plan proceedings, as well as in developing, supporting, and implementing utility of the future initiatives, including transportation electrification programs. Mr. Blazunas has testified as an expert witness before the Public Utility Commission of Ohio, the Maryland Public Service Commission, and the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia. Mr. Blazunas holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Dayton and the University of Akron, respectively, and has taught undergraduate Economics at the University of Akron.
