Cost of Capital Expertise

A U.S. investor-owned electric services company retained Concentric to provide cost of capital analysis and expert testimony in their Missouri rate cases. We conducted an assessment of the economic and financial market conditions, estimated the company’s return on equity (ROE) using multiple analyses, and evaluated the company’s business, financial, and regulatory risk in comparison to comparable groups of utilities. We also evaluated the capital structure and supported the company’s proposed ROE, capital structure, and overall cost of capital.
