Concentric was retained by a U.S. investor-owned electric services company to provide cost of capital analysis and expert testimony in their Missouri rate cases. We provided an assessment of economic and financial market conditions; estimated the company’s return on equity (ROE) using multiple analyses; evaluated the companies’ business, financial, and regulatory risk in comparison to comparable groups of utilities; evaluated capital structure; and supported the companies’ proposed ROE, capital structure and overall cost of capital.
