Concentric provided expert analysis on behalf of a client who was the subject of a tortious interference claim. The claim asserted that our client, through changes in design, engineering, and materials supply for a new nuclear construction project that was subsequently abandoned, committed tortious interference with a purported contractual relationship between the plaintiffs’ putative ratepayer class and the project owners.
Concentric supported the client’s counsel in assessing whether the client’s involvement in the project resulted in any delays or increased costs. Our assessment included a thorough evaluation of extensive documentation related to the project’s licensing, and an evaluation of opposing parties’ consulting reports. Ultimately, the United States District Court dismissed the claim with prejudice.
