We provided arbitration dispute services related to three small independent power producers (IPP) concerning the price set for renewing power purchase agreement contracts. Our services included providing insights on the evolution of the northeastern U.S. energy market, prevailing pricing parameters, and assessing the reasonableness and fairness of the price offered by our client. Additionally, we compared this price with the IPPs’ cost of production and evaluated the value of the environmental attributes rights associated with small hydropower plants.
