Concentric provided expert testimony on behalf of a Florida electric utility in a rate proceeding regarding the utility’s relative cost, reliability, and capital deployment efficiency compared to three peer groups representing large, regional, and operational utilities.
In the testimony, we presented benchmarking analysis that demonstrated how our client consistently and substantially outperformed similarly sized companies across a wide array of financial and operational metrics under Florida’s approach for incentivizing superior results that produce customer benefits. Our testimony supported rewarding the client’s proposed return premium based on the utility’s strong performance.
