Concentric conducted two multi-day workshops for a vertically-integrated utility with a focus on developing corporate strategy and preparing for an upcoming generic policy proceeding.
The first workshop centered on key change drivers and their implications for the business model. It explored the role of innovation as well as new products and services. The workshop also examined the regulatory framework elements that would need to align with emerging business models and the evolving role of the utility in deploying Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and enhancing customer engagement.
The second workshop concentrated on the utility’s strategic objectives, the existing regulatory/legislative environment, and a potential integrated business model designed to deliver value to customers and the broader network.
