Ms. Manandhar brings over a unique combination of engineering and economics expertise. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington State University, a Master’s in Engineering from University of Flensburg, Germany, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk in Nepal.
As an engineer, she has worked on various renewable energy projects in Nepal, India, Scotland, and Indonesia on a broad spectrum of renewable energy initiatives, encompassing hydropower, solar, biofuel, and green-cooling projects. Her research at Washington State University was centered on analyzing the effects of demand response programs on distribution systems. Ms. Manandhar is skilled in working with large time-series datasets and developing machine-learning models combined with structural econometric components.
