Concentric was retained by a large U.S. utility holding company to prepare a comprehensive study of the benefits and costs of privatizing the U.S. water industry. This study included consideration of reliability, service quality, customer impacts, treatment of acquisition premia, among other considerations. The study was prepared in anticipation of an acquisition of a water system. Ultimately, the client used this information in their due diligence for several acquisitions.
