Jonathan Byrd has more than two decades of experience in the regulated utility sector, including positions in customer products and services, energy efficiency, renewable energy procurement, risk management, and rate design. He previously led the enterprise and regulated business risk function at Duke Energy as well as managed the modernization of rate designs across Duke’s six-state footprint. Mr. Byrd has experience leading major stakeholder initiatives, designing contracting strategies for large customers that include regulatory approval, and testifying in rate cases and other similar proceedings. He holds master’s degrees in engineering and business administration.
