Stephen Wemple has testified as an expert on a variety of energy policy issues and has over thirty years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining Concentric, Mr. Wemple held a variety of senior executive positions at Con Edison’s regulated and competitive affiliates developing and implementing clean energy strategies that maintain and enhance reliable and resilient utility service.
Mr. Wemple’s expertise is in regulatory and future of energy matters, including green hydrogen, battery storage, wind power development, and energy trading across wholesale and retail markets. He is a highly effective communicator, well-integrated into the industry network, and has a proven track record in shaping energy policy at the New York State and regional levels. Mr. Wemple holds a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and is a past chair of the NYISO Business Issues Committee.
