Our client, a major North American utility, was involved in high-value litigation concerning the value of generation assets conveyed to a former subsidiary, and whether the Company’s Board of Directors had properly exercised its fiduciary responsibilities. Concentric was retained by a U.S. multinational law firm to work with a team that included technical and environmental advisors to support all aspects of the dispute, including expert advice on power markets, electric generation value fundamentals, environmental liabilities, detailed economic analysis, preparing and responding to written information requests, and preparation for cross-examination of opposing witnesses. The litigation remains active and is scheduled for trial in 2024.
